Nike and Major League Baseball have announced a 10-year deal partnership beginning in 2020, allowing Nike to become the official uniform and footwear supplier of the league.
Major League Baseball will have a new uniform provider beginning in 2020. Nike has won the rights and agreed to a 10-year partnership, replacing Majestic as the official on-field provider. Majestic has provided MLB with uniforms since the 2005 season.
In addition, Nike will produce all game-day wear and training apparel for all 30 MLB clubs. The Nike ‘swoosh’ will appear on the front of the uniforms, as opposed to Majestic which was on the sleeve. Once the deal starts, Nike will become the official jersey supplier for the NFL, NBA and MLB.

Fanatics has been granted the licensing rights to manufacture and distribute off of Nike’s MLB Authentic collections, as well as fan gear, to sell in stores and online.
It was originally reported in 2016 that Under Armour would become the uniform supplier beginning in 2020, “but has since become unaffordable to the company.” Nike won the rights after Under Armour gave up the rights.
Nike currently endorses over 500 Major and Minor League players, including Mike Trout, Max Scherzer, Giancarlo Stanton and Javier Baez.
